Fun for your whole family!

Both of today's projects were made with some of our great new stamp sets.  The Thanksgiving sets are so cute and versatile, you'll find a million ways to use them before and during the holiday.  The Button Up set is just perfect for any time you need that special button you want to add to a page, or for when you want to add the look of stitches without having to get out your needle and thread!

DT member Ellen made these pretty place cards with her kids!

"When my son, Owen, saw these little Pilgrims and Indians he got so excited! Every year he makes the place settings for Thanksgiving so that is what we did with these stamps.

AND we embossed some of them! He had such a good time embossing. And his vote for favorite scent is watermelon ;) As for me, I cannot get enough of that cute little Turkey!!!

Creativity coming your way!

Our first project today is by Natalie.  She made this adorable cards with the Hot Diggity Dog set.  You could easily print out information for a movie party and attach it to the back.  Who wouldn't love to get that ticket?

Sheree made this fab layout with the Halloween set.  I love the dimension!

"Although in Australia we don't tend to celebrate Halloween much, my daughters birthday just happens to fall very close to it so this year we decided on a big Halloween birthday party for her 10th birthday... she of course had to go as the young Vampire girl (Twilight fan of course). This Halloween stamp set worked perfectly with these photos... loved the little spiders and flying bats..."

Supplies Used:
Gel A Tins Halloween Stamps

Meet Design Team member Natalie!

My name is Natalie Dever, stay at home mom to four mostly adorable children- whose faces occupy the majority of my scrapbook pages. I started scrapbooking soon after my oldest child was born (17 years ago!); I was invited to a Creative Memories workshop and was immediately hooked! I was introduced to D.O.T.S. (now Close to My Heart) about a year later and have been stamping ever since. I love doing anything paper and ink related from scrapbooking to cards to tags and gift packages...love it all!
I am a ‘reality’ TV junkie and almost NEVER miss an episode of Survivor. I am addicted to diet coke and taco pizza and I am always ready to read a good vampire love story.
I am so excited to be working with Gel-a-tins stamps!

Celebrate with gel-a-tins!

Today we have three more beautiful cards to inspire you!

The first is by Natalie.  She used the Happy Days set for this card.  Using two inks and layering the words really makes those stamps pop!

What do you get when you add bright papers, bright inks and bling to your gel-a-tins?  This fabulous card by Cassie.  She used three of the different stamps from the Butterflies are Free set and the look is summery and perfect!

Ink: SU Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Real Red
Paper: Alphabet Soup MME, unknown orange
Accessories: blue ribbon, pink rhinestones

This card was made by DT member Angela.  She used the Spin Cycle set to make that gorgeous background paper.  Using a  monochromatic color scheme makes for such a pretty card!
