thanks ever so much

Well, my term is over here at Gelatins stamps and for my last project I made a thank you card. Specifically, thank you ever so much - to Bonnie & Jessica and all of the team members who I've worked with over the past several months.

I'm grateful for this opportunity and all you have taught me.

I used the leopard background stamp on this card. The inks are farmer jeans and teal damask, both Prima chalk inks.

For more details about my card, check out my blog.

HI card

Hi! I made a card today using one of the Amy Tangerine embroidery templates. I thought the "hi" template would look great on a card.

I used the Happiness stamp set from Gelatins stamps. I liked the thin border stamp but I wanted to use it as a background so I stamped multiple times on the background of my card & alternated the acrylic block so the pattern was different.

Just for You card.

Love Knots is probably my favorite Gelatins stamp. It is SO cute.
Love Knots
For my card, I used the Love Knots stamp background + a sentiment from Little Buddies.

kisses card.

Hi everyone! I'm sharing a card I made using the leopard background stamp & the SWAK stamp set. I love animal prints & this is the perfect size for a background on a card. I used American Crafts pigment ink for the background stamp. The lips are from the SWAK stamp set & I used poppy parade ink from Stampin' Up.

welcome baby [card].

Hello! I have a baby card to share today. It sure seems to be baby season! I used the Little Buddies Gelatins Stamp set but I only used the sentiment stamps for this card. This stamp set is adorable for baby themed projects.

love knots stamp for a Valentine's layout in July!

Since I don't scrapbook in chronological order, it's not unusual for me that I'm doing a V day layout. For some of you, I may seem crazy. This is the card that my boyfriend sent with my flowers from Valentine's day this year.

I wanted to use the Love Knots stamp with this layout. I stamped with tin can silver ink from Prima chalk ink onto black cardstock. Isn't it pretty?

happy tails to you!

Hey everyone! I'm sharing another card using the Cosmo Pups stamp set. I just love these cute little puppies, but the little paw stamps are precious too. There are 15 stamps included in this set!
Here's the card I made using two of the puppies + a sentiment stamp. I stamped the sentiment with Prima chalk ink in tin can, which is a lovely silver & it looks so good on the chalk label from American Crafts.

As always, stop by my blog today for more details about my card. Thanks for visiting today!

I woof you [card].

If you know me, you know my love of dogs & this stamp set is no exception. How cute are these Cosmo Pups?

I made a simple CAS card with these stamps. I think this little guy in the lower right hand corner is adorable. I had to use him.

Be sure to check out this stamp in the shop & there's also another cute set with little dogs on it - Pet Shop.

King's Island 1995. [Gelatins Stamps + Xyron]

Hello everyone! We've teamed up with Xyron this month & I've been so excited about the products they sent me. I hadn't used any Xyron products before but I'd had my eye on the Create-a-Sticker machine.

On my layout today, I used the Xyron Create-a-Sticker. Have you seen the Press A Penny machines?

I have a pressed quarter from our King's Island trip (back in 1995!) that I wanted to include on this page. So the Create-a-Sticker machine was perfect for adhering this!

I also attempted to run the wood veneer arrow through the machine but it was too thick.

I used the Happiness stamp set from Gelatins Stamps today. It's the dot border from the set, which I stamped multiple times & made a patterned paper. The ink is Prima chalk ink in English Ivy.

Have you tried the Xyron Creat-a-Sticker machine? What kind of items have you used in it?

congratulations award pin/card.

Hey everyone! I have an award pin/card to share today. I had a few different ideas for this project so I'll share a few with you & you can also check them out in more detail on my blog. Here's what I started with:
First, I cut this using the My Community Cricut cartridge at 5 1/2 inches. I used a mask & some misting for the background. The Gelatins stamp set I used is actually a baby shower themed set - little buddies. I used the circle stamps + the 'congratulations' sentiment. The inks are Prima chalk inks - farmer jeans & teal damask. I also used the small star stamp from the Little Buddies stamp set & heat embossed it with aqua ZING! embossing powder.

When I was finished, I had a few ideas. Of course you could adhere a pin to the back of it so that it could be pinned onto your clothing. Or you could attach it as is to a card (misted with the same mask)...

Or I thought you could even make it into a card. Simply cut a second shape in the same size & attach them at the top...

What other ideas do you have?

'love knots' stamp on a 12x12 page.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I finished a 12x12 layout with my love knots stamp that I wanted to share. I love this stamp! It measures about 4x5 inches x 5.5 inches.

I used three inks in sort of an ombre efffect - red, pink, orange, yellow. Here is a close up so you can see the detail better.
It actually turned out much better than I expected! Always a happy surprise! :) For more details about my page, please visit my blog Markland & Main. Thanks for stopping by today!

'it's your day' pillowbox

Hey everyone! I'm sharing a pillowbox I made using two stamp sets from Gelatins Stamps. The stamp sets I used are Happiness & It's Your Day

Here's my project:
I used the one of the flower background stamps from the Happiness set to stamp in the middle of my tag. I masked off the edges first. The ink is Prima chalk ink in moss lawn. Then I used the it's your day sentiment with some Versafine ink.

You can see more of my project & a supply list at my blog, Markland & Main. Thanks for stopping by today1

friendship card featuring Happiness stamp set.

Hello! I have a card to share using the Happiness stamp set.
I used a flower border and a word border along the top of my card. The ink is onxy black by VersaFine and if you've never tried this ink before, it is amazing! It works especially great for these borders, giving really crisp images.

Here's my card:

spring tag with Easter Bunnies stamp set.

This stamp set has "Easter" in its name but don't let it restrict you to using it for holiday related creations.

I made a pretty spring tag using this set - it has a couple of cute flower images.

Here's my tag:

I used textured cardstock so it's a little hard to tell but the stamp gives a really crisp image.

miss you card [SWAK stamp set + Robin's Nest products]

Hi everyone! I've got a card to share using products from Robin's Nest, along with my SWAK stamp set. It's hard to tell in the photo but the numbers on that background paper are glittery. Very pretty!
I used Prima chalk ink in raspberry pie for my lips stamps. Everything on this card is from Robin's Nest (except the letter stickers, which are from my stash).

'for you' tag featuring Robin's Nest

We've teamed up with the Robin's Nest this month & I've got a tag to share using their diamond dew drops.

I used purple & red diamond dew drops along the bottom of my tag. The Gelatin's stamp set I used was build your own paisley floral. I chose purple and red inks and made my paisley pattern on the tag.

Tag & dew drops: Robin's Nest
ribbon: May Arts

Easter Greetings card, better late than never!

I know Easter was a little over a week ago but I made this Easter card & I still wanted to share it.

This Gelatins stamp set is called Easter Bunnies. It also has some flowers & a "spring" sentiment so it's not just for Easter.

My card was made using two of the egg designs & the pretty paper is from Robin's Nest. We're teaming up with them this whole month!
The yellow looks pretty loud in this photo but it's not so bright in real life.

Thanks for stopping by to see my (late) Eater card. For more details, stop by my blog today.

have a little faith card.

This week I have a new stamp set to work with but I bet you won't recognize it on this card I made...

I used the build your own paisley floral stamp set - do you see it now?

The floral patterns in the set are really pretty & the stamps give great impressions. However, instead of using the paisley stamp on my card I punched circles out of the pattern. It's something different to try & gives your stamp set more versatility.

Here is a close up shot of the paisley floral print - isn't it pretty?!
Thanks for stopping by today & happy April Fool's day!

So I used the long heart border & the "congrats!" sentiment. I stamped the heart border & then cut out around it. Here's my card:
