Pop Art Lips

Hi everyone! So nice to see you again! :-)

I'm back today with a fun card featuring the Gel-à-Tins SWAK stamp set!

I've been looking at famous artworks as a source of inspiration lately and decided to emulate a bit of Andy Warhol/Pop Art to come up with this:

So awesome!! I just love it!!!

I started with some white cardstock and punched out several squares. I stamped the lips on each square using a different coloured ink and heat embossed over the top with a clear embossing powder for that really glossy to create my tree bark effect.

I then used pigment inks to ink up the squares up the lips, wiping off any excess ink that went onto the embossed areas. I arranged and adhered the lips in an order on my card base, added a sentiment that seemed fitting and I was all done!

Supplies Used:

Say What stamp set (Mama Elephant)
ink (A:Muse), Versafine Onyx Black ink, Versamark ink (Tsukineko), Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening, Plum Pudding inks (Papertrey Ink)
Stamper's Select White cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
Filigree Clear embossing powder (Stewart Superior)

I'm looking forward to seeing you again when I next post! Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!
