A Patriotic Card for You!

Hello everyone!  Jessica B. here with a fun card made with some gel-a-tins stamp sets and some really fun Robin's Nest paper.  I thought this could be fun for an invitation to a cookout on the fourth or even for my husband's aunt who has a birthday on the fourth.  Don't tell!  It could be a surprise for her :)

I had to start with that fabulously sparkly paper.  I used the Xyron 510 to attach it to the front of the card and then I got to stamping.  Those "fireworks" are really two stamps from a gel-a-tins flower set, and I did those on the white paper first in blue, red and yellow inks.  The sentiment is from the Make a Wish set.  I layered that with a die-cut star (from another of the fun Robin's Nest papers) and ahand cut banner (more glittery paper!) and used foam adhesive to stick it all together.  I added a little embellishment made from stamps in the Save the Date set.

I hope that you've stopped by The Robin's Nest and checked out the work they share on their Facebook page!  Be sure to stop by our page as well.  We have some great things coming up this summer and you won't want to miss a thing!

Happy Monday Gel-A-Tins Fans!  I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Kate here today, sharing with you a simple thank you card made with the "Build Your Own - Paisley Florals" Collection.

I stamped the patterned paisley stamps with both a heavy-hand and a light-hand create different hues of blue and black paisley images on some blue speckled paper from The Robin's Nest.  I then cut out the stamped paisley images and glued them on the kraft paper.

I kept the design simple in order to show off the great patterned paisleys.

I used Prima chalk ink in raspberry pie for my lips stamps. Everything on this card is from Robin's Nest (except the letter stickers, which are from my stash).

Spring Bird

Spring has sprung here in Maine.  That means lots of green and lots of birds.
It is such a wonderful time of the year for renewal and color.

Kate here! Today I am sharing a spring card.
My card shows off a pretty bird created with Gel-A-Tins

I created the bird by stamping the large paisley stamp twice onto Celebration Glitter Swirl Cardstock  by The Robin's Nest. Then I cut out the image and mounted it onto Green Glitter Cardstock, also by The Robin's Nest. The images were then overlapped so the bottom image creates a bird wing.

I stamped a small solid paisley, cut it out and mounted it on the
Green Glitter Cardstock creating a fuller bird.

I hope you have enjoyed the insight into how I created my spring bird
using the paisley stamps from Gel-A-Tins!

Bright & Cheery Card!

Happy Friday!  Kate here!  Sometimes an occassion just calls for a bright and colorful card.  Something cheery and happy.

Today I am sharing a card that is very bright and cheery. I used Gel-A-Tins' "It's Your Day" Collection and Gelly Gems.  It is also chock-full of The Robin's Nest papers.

I stamped the "It's Your Day" sentiment on textured cardstock.

I cut out individual Gelly Gems to use as bling accents on the stars and the sentiment.

This month the Gel-A-Tinas have the pleasure of designing with products from The Robin's Nest.  Be sure to check their blog and Facebook fan page. Be sure to tell them Gel-A-Tins Stamps sent you!

More Spring

As you probably have already read, this month the Gelatinas are partnering up with The Robin's Nest to show you some great things using this products!

The happy colors of The Robin's Nest' Sorbet collection just POP! against plain kraft paper.
I love that the blue papers of this collection are double sided. The back side is un-glittered and this gives you more options for your designs! Here I restamped the flowers from "Easter Bunnies"set onto the corner of the blue panel.  Tone on tone can give you some interest without taking away from the main panel.
Here I have used dew drops from Winter's Retreat to accent my card.  Yes, Winter's Retreat is probably my favorite dew drop collection!!  Take a peek at all the wonderful colors, shapes and collections of dew drops. What is your favorite?

What do you think about the Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations?

If you didn't see this Spring card on The Chattering Robins Company blog yesterday,
be sure to go and read more about it!!

One more...using hand made embellies using Creative Paperclay ® and the swirls from
"Faberge Eggs."  Can you spot the Robin's Nest Papers here?

Easter Greetings card, better late than never!

I know Easter was a little over a week ago but I made this Easter card & I still wanted to share it.

This Gelatins stamp set is called Easter Bunnies. It also has some flowers & a "spring" sentiment so it's not just for Easter.

My card was made using two of the egg designs & the pretty paper is from Robin's Nest. We're teaming up with them this whole month!
The yellow looks pretty loud in this photo but it's not so bright in real life.

Thanks for stopping by to see my (late) Eater card. For more details, stop by my blog today.

Beach Canvas featuring Robin's Nest

Hi folks, Sharon here from the gel-a-tins Design Team. I don't know about you guys but I cannot wait for the Summer to eventually get here!.  I am getting in the mood for sand and sea after getting my hands on the fab Robin's Nest Beach Collection of papers.

I covered the canvas with the single sheet of 12 x 12 paper and added elements from their sticker sheet.  To give it some natural texture I added real shells and some burlap. The gel-a-tins Chevron clear stamp set reminded me waves and worked perfectly.

Spring Greetings

Your family maybe still be coming down from a sugar high,
but there is plenty of spring left to use bunnies and
elegant greetings.

This month, Gel-a-tins is teaming up with The Robin's Nest and their products.
The images are Easter Bunnies from Gel-a-tins.
The Damask Black and White Paper is from The Robin's Nest.

I kept this card elegant with the black and white colors.
But a punch of colors in the mats gives this card a perky "Yes it's spring!" feel!

Thanks for hopping by today!
