U Stop My Heart

Hooray, it is February! Who else LOVES this month? Can you smell the LOVE in the air? It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts and today I am excited to show this card that I made using the gel-a-tins STOP gelly jr. stamp!

Image

I have always enjoyed the red, pink and aqua color combo and decided that this was the perfect card to make using those colors!

The STOP gelly jr stamp is stamped in pink and hand-cut. Using a variety of stickers and chipboard, I created the rest of the "sentiment". To add to the card, I used different embossing folders to add to the back layer and pink strip. The final piece to add was the simple twine, even though it is some what messed up in the picture ;)!

Thank you for stopping by today! Please share you gel-a-tins creations on our Facebook page, we would love to see what you come up with!

Supplies:
gel-a-tins - gelly jr. STOP sign
Recollection Kraft cardstock
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Seeing Spots
Paper Studio Embossing Folder - Woodgrain
Trendy Twine - Tickled with Teal
Lily Bee Design - Alpha Stickers
My Little Shoebox - Chipboard Letter
Misc. Chipboard heart

Candy Cane Joy

Hi everyone! It's getting close to Christmas now and I've one more Gel-à-Tins project to share with you before then!

Today I'm bringing you a quick and easy card featuring the Gelly Jr's Candy Cane stamp!

Did you know that with some creative masking this stamp can be so much more than a candy cane? Let me show you:

Image

Pretty neat huh?!

Image

I started by stamping the candy cane onto white cardstock. With some creative stamping and partial inking I was able to turn it into the letter 'y' and the letter 'o'!

Image

I wanted to keep this card very simple so all I did was trim the letters out, spray the letters with adhesive, coat with glitter and adhere to the base with dimensional glue gel and that was it!

Supplies Used:

Gel-à-Tins:
Gelly Jr's Candy Cane

Other:
Berry Sorbet ink (Papertrey Ink)
Stamper's Select White cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
Spray Adhesive
Crystal Fine Glitter (Martha Stewart)

I'd love to know what you think of this project. Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon - and Merry Christmas!!

Snowflake Scene

Hi everyone! I'm so glad to be back sharing a new Gel-à-Tins project with you!

Today I'm bringing you a quick and easy card featuring the Gelly Jr's Snowflake stamp! I've been waiting and waiting for Winter to come so I could use it!

I kept this very CAS and wanted to convey a falling snow scene:

Image

What do you think? Cute huh?!

Image

I started by stamping the snowflakes with white ink.

Image

I then stamped some others in Versamark ink and heat set with white embossing powder. I added some more snowflakes in the same way but didn't emboss them. I wanted a really soft, layered scene without having layers popping off the base. I finished by embossing the sentiment and that was it!

Supplies Used:

Gel-à-Tins:
Gelly Jr's Snowflake

Other:
On Ice stamp set (Papertrey Ink)
Fresh Snow ink (Papertrey Ink), Versamark (Tsukineko)
Spring Rain cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
White embossing powder

I'd love to know what you think of this project. Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!!

A Spooky Fall Kitty

Hello, Gel-a-tins fans! Can you believe that Halloween is next week?!? So why not another festive Halloween card? Today's card using the single stamp Fall Kitty and the bat stamps from the Witchy Poo Set.

Take a look-

Image

The first step I took in making this card was to stamp the Fall Kitty image onto kraft cardstock. I colored in the image with a variety of markers. Once the ink was dried, I hand-cut the image. I adhered the patterned paper to the card and used a die-cut to cut out the circle on the front. Using the same die-cut, I also cut a circle out of matching orange cardstock and attached to the "inside" of the card.

Image

It was time to start piecing together the card. I stamped one bat onto the orange circle. The second bat was hand-cut and adhered to the piece of twine. The kitty was glued to the front of the card off to the side of the circle cut-out. I decided to add sticker embellishments to bottom and viola, the card is finished!

Just a Note

Hello stampers, Nina here with just a note ;)

Image

I used both front and back of the Just A Note stamp:

Image

Cut around the stamped image, stack them, punch a hole in the corner, thread it and you are done!

Image

I was inspired by Anita's Doodle Flowers card to use the back of a stamp for the solid image. I could not stop here so I made another note card set:

Image

This time the solid images were stamped on the back of the card:

Image

They are just cute! I want to make one in every color ink I have!

Image

I hope that you are inspired to create some mini note cards using the Gelly Jrs. Happy Crafting!

I love butterflies so much and try to use them in any season! For the background I stamped with linen ink one of the damask stamps repeatedly. I love the damask set because it's a great background stamp or a great main stamp! Here is a closeup of the butterfly:
