spring tag with Easter Bunnies stamp set.

This stamp set has "Easter" in its name but don't let it restrict you to using it for holiday related creations.

I made a pretty spring tag using this set - it has a couple of cute flower images.

Here's my tag:

I used textured cardstock so it's a little hard to tell but the stamp gives a really crisp image.

Thank You

My obsession with the gel-a-tins Doodle Flower Stamp continues!!.  It is so versatile and can easily be used in so many different style of card.  Today I made a bright and funky Thank You card.

Products Used

gel-a-tins 'Doodle Flower' Jelly Jr Stamp
StazOn Black Ink Pad
Xyron Mega Runner
Xyron 150 X
Echo park 'A walk in the Park' 12 x12 Collection
Plastic Drinking Straw
Scraps of Ribbon
Foam Pads
5"x7" Card Blank

I cut the base paper to size and adhered to the base card using the Xyron Mega Runner.

I stamped the 'Doodle Flower' using the StazOn Ink onto contrasting papers, I cut them out.  I glued the two shortened straws to the base of the card and used foam pads to hold the flowers in place.

The 'Thank You' topper was cut from a larger sheet from the collection, this is held in place over the straws using the foam pads.

The ribbon was run through the Xyron 150 X and wrapped around the green card. The green card is then attached to the bottom of the card using foam pads, this gives it lift over the straws.

1 Stamp Set 2 Ways with Sketches

Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing a couple of sketches I made for Welcome Spring Time Stamp Set:

The squares in Welcome Spring Time stamp set are all about 1-1/4" in size and look amazing on cards:

I decided to challenge myself for a masculine card with the second sketch:

I printed the sentiment from my computer and added some staples for detail:

I hope that you like today's cards and are inspired to create some cards using the sketches. Happy Crafting!

Monochrome Springtime Notecard Set

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Are you ready for some more Gel-à-Tins fun?!

I'm back today with a little CAS notecard set I created with the really fun Springtime set. The images in this set are so perfect for creating so many different looks! I've definitely got a ton of ideas for it! The little squares are perfect for making a bold design statement and I let that dictate the style of these projects:

Image

Aren't these fantastic? I think monochrome makes such a sophisticated style statement and suits any one's tastes!

Image

I started with some white cardstock and prepared that into little 3.5"x5" card bases. The squares in this set are just a little bigger than inchie size, which makes them great for creating a smaller card, or you can always use several on one card too if you want to go with more standard dimensions!

Image

I inked up each image with VersaMark and black Versafine, then embossed with clear embossing powder so that they really gave a slick finish. I then stamped some all-occasion sentiments and a black line to accent. Finally I added a strip of black cardstock vertically for some added interest.

Image

Really a very CAS design but these pack such a punch I think! And I've already got a ton of ideas for some slight changes for when I create something similar again!

Image

The great thing about little cards like these is that they can also be a perfect gift for someone - and they take no time at all to whip up!!

Image

They're also pretty much one layer too, so they're nice and flat for boxing up and posting!
