Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a card with you, that I made with two stamp sets: Shifting Gears & Hello!. I love this stamp set Hello! , because you can use it on your scrapbook pages or make some fun cards with it! Here is the Hello! Stamp Set:

I absolutely LOVE all the little sayings on it! Here is the card I created:

Instructions:
1. On Cream Cardstock stamp three different Gears from the Shifting Gears set with three different colours. Cut this to fit on your cardstock base and adhere.
2. Add Patterned paper to the top half of the base of the card.
3. Tie coordinating ribbon where the cream paper, and patterened paper meet. Stamp GUARANTEED stamp from the Hello! Stamp set. on red cardstock. Cut around it, and adhere it onto your card.
4. Stamp the GUARANTEED stamp again onto cream cardstock.Stamp your word of choice (I chose adorable) onto the center part. Cut out only the word, and pop this up using foam tape.
5. Add any additional lettering with small alphabet stickers.

Sew in Love!

Happy New Year everyone! Even though its only January, I thought I would inspire you with a card that can be used for the upcoming holiday- Valentines Day or if you just want to tell someone special that you LOVE them. I used the SEWING KIT stamp set (found in the store: here) , and this stamp set is AWESOME!

So versatile, and it comes with super cute buttons, that can be embossed, stamped, threaded etc... I loved the long stitching stamps too, and decided to make the background of my card using them! Here is the card:

Instructions:
1. Stamp in alternating order the three long stitches in three different colors on cream cardstock.
2. Mat this onto black cardstock, and then place on your red cardstock card.
3. Attach the flower.
4. Stamp the LOVE button on red cardstock. Thread bakers twine through the button holes. Tie a bow. Pop the button up on the flower
5. Finish the sentiment by adding "sew in" in tiny alphas.

A last minute ornament idea from Jodi!

Christmas is only a few days away, and to help you get into the Christmas Spirit, I thought I would share with a neat project that you can make with your stamps!

Instructions:
1. Stamp your tree stamp from the Twas the Night Before Christmas Stamp Set on white cardstock and color it in with your copic markers
2. Add Glitter to the garland, and add mini red pom-poms to the tree.
3. Cut around the tree, and adhere with a strong glue to your clear ornament. I used Modge podge to smooth it over nicely.
4. Cut think strips of paper using Christmas Colours and roll them around a pencil. Insert these rolled pieced into the clear ornament until it is filled.
5. Attach a ribbon and place on your tree.

Merry Christmas Card by Jodi

Hi everyone! Is everyone almost ready for Christmas? It's Jodi Wilton here again with you today! I have a cute and simple card to share with you, using the Twas the Night Before Christmas Stamp Set! This stamp set is so versatile, I could make so many different cards! The card I am sharing with you today, is using the ornament stamp!

I wanted to card to look like hanging ornaments everyone! I love the simple background with the fun bright ornaments!

Instructions:
1. Cut your base of your card in black cardstock.
2. Stamp your sentiment on the right hand corner of a white piece of cardstock. (Do not adhere this piece yet!)
3. Stamp in black ink, 5 ornaments on white cardstock. Use your copics to color them in, in a variety of colors. Fussy cut around them.
4. Use a small hole punch, and punch the tip of the ornament to make a tiny hole to thread some string through it.
5. Use Foam tape to adhere the ornaments in random order on your white cardstock. Tape the other end of the ornament on the backside of your white cardstock
6. Adhere your white cardstock onto the base of your card. Doodle around the edge of the card with a white pen.

Making your own wrapping paper and a Christmas tag!

Hi everyone! Jodi Wilton here today, to show you another unique way to use your stamps (especially at Christmas time!) Have you ever been stuck last minute with no wrapping paper in your house? This happens to me ALL the time! I always have tissue paper on hand for crafts, and by using stamps, you can create some unique wrapping paper! Here is what I made using the Twas the Night Before Christmas Stamp Set:

Instructions:
1. I took regular tissue paper, and picked one stamp (you can use a variety themed ones if you wish!). I stamped in black ink, randomly over one complete sheet of tissue paper. I then bunched it up, tied it together with some curling ribbon and volia! A quick and easy project!
2. You can also make a matching tag, by using the same stamp you used on a the tissue paper. I stamped the bells on the tag, and colored in with my copics. I then stamped my sentiment, and added a border with my copics.

Have fun with this technique! You can also try stamping in different colors of ink on white tissue paper, or stamping on Kraft parcel paper!

Merry Christmas Card by Jodi

Hi Everyone! Jodi Wilton here today, to inspire you to get into the Christmas Spirit! I was given the Twas the Night before Christmas Stamp set, and it is perfect for all of your Christmas Paper Crafting Needs! Throughout the month I will be showing you lots of fun things you can do with this set! To start off with today, I am going to share with you a Christmas Card:

Instructions:

1. Cut the cardstock base. Cut two different pieces of patterned paper. Layer these as shown.
2. Stamp the Christmas Tree, and color in with your Copic markers. Mat your colored image on cardstock. Adhere to your layout.
3. Stamp the Presents (two types of presents). Color with your copic markers, and fussy cut around them. Use your foam tape to adhere them around the Christmas Tree.
4. Stamp your sentiment. Mat around your sentiment. Wrap twine around them. Use foam tape to adhere.

Today I want to share with you two layouts for a class I taught at the Scrapping Nook ( http://www.thescrappingnook.ca )! I used the cute alphabet stamp set called : Off to School Letters

It is super cute and PERFECT for school layouts! Here is the first layout:

The letters were first stamped and then cut up and staggered to get the title effect I was looking for. Here is a closer look:

Here is the second layout I created:

I stamped the letters and then coloured them in with my sharpie marker for a unified look! I love this about stamping!

Hope this gives you some great inspiration to finish up some school layouts!

Turn your stamps into coloring pages!

As soon as I opened this stamp set (Once Upon a Time), my daughter and I both fell in love with it! She is only 7 years old and I thought it might be a little tricky for her to colour in. I came up with the idea to stamp the image and then photocopy it and enlarge it on my printer at the same time. The idea worked perfectly and I was able to produce the same image on a large scale! I also run a home daycare, and it just so happens we are doing a Once Upon a Time theme, where we are learning about princesses, castles, and storybook fun! This stamp set was perfect even for little ones, to color, once the image was enlarged! I even did an introduction poster to hang up in the daycare: Here is the poster with the stamped image too!

This idea can be used for scrapbooking stores to make coloring pages for the little ones, while mom shops away too! I just LOVE this idea! To see more of what my kids have done, be sure to stop by my blog today: http://luvalotland.blogspot.com/!

Instructions:
Stamp a clear image onto white cardstock.
Place it on your printer and use the enlarge feature.
You may have to play around with how much to enlarge it, but once you have correct proportions, you will have coloring sheet that you can reuse over and over again!
Have the kids colour, paint, and even glitter away!

A Note for my Princess

Having a 7 year old girl who took one look at the ONCE UPON A TIME stamp set, and said it was her most favorite stamp that I have, I knew I had to make her something, to surprise her! I often add little notes to her lunchbox, with a little treat, so I decided to create a little envelope that I can put little notes in for her! I LOVE how this turned out, and I can`t wait until she comes running off the bus to tell me all about her Princess note. Here is what I created:

Instructions:Stamp the castle image from the Once Upon a Time Stamp set onto an envelope of your choosing (I chose a kraft envelope). Color the image in with your copic markers. Add Patterned paper to fit the top half of the envelope and add ribbon and trim accordingly. Add your sentiment for your prince or princess. Add a flower.

Kraft Envelope, Felt Flowers, Ribbon and Trim, copic markers, Basic Grey Alpha Stickers, Pink Paislee Patterned Paper.

Once Upon a Time

When I opened my stamp set for the month, I fell in love with this ONCE UPON A TIME stamp set! It is perfect for little girls! My first project was making a card:

Instructions:

I wanted the prime focus of the card to be the adorable image, so I stamped it in black ink, and colored the image in with my copics. I then added some glitter, with my 2-way glue! Love how the unicorn sparkles! I made the card as girly as I could with my favorite color gray with lots of pink! I tied a bow and then added a button with a bow of twine

My name is Jodi Wilton, and I live in Welland, Ontario, Canada. I have been married to my husband for 8 years, and have three wonderful kids. I have the pleasure of running my own daycare from my home, and have been doing this for over 5 years. I first got interested in scrapbooking when I worked on a cruise ship, as a way to document my travels. That was over 10 years ago, and today I enjoy all types of papercrafting!
